Oh no, they'd never let me go to no dances, no sir Paul, you're not supposed to dance. Not supposed to dances. They had nice parties. [Spoken by grandma Rubie] I grew up in San Francisco, an all black neighbourhood. I remember it very well. I was not allowed to dance. But in my room I could move around if I felt like it, and had the chance. I started playing music when I was five, 1952, writing down my feelings. Everybody's life is different, and so's mine. Isn't that right grandma? [Spoken by Larry] My feet are on a rock, my name is on a roll But moving and a grooving does not satisfy my soul So when I’m down I go off on my own When I feel moved I dance before the throne Just like David [Spoken] My friends think that I’m strange Guess they think that I’m a fool You know they look at me in church And they laugh at me in school But I believe someone rolled away the stone And I am not alone So when I feel the need I dance before the throne Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh

I was so down My chin on the ground Wondering what to do Then suddenly I was surprised from out of the blue The birds sang their song as I walked along I suddenly felt quite odd ‘Cause out of the sky fell a note from Mr God And it said You got the blues but you can shake it If you have faith you can make it You have a chance You must take it while you can You have a choice but you must choose it Don't give up hope Never lose it And that's what it said on the note from Mr God Oh I like it [Spoken, faintly] God [Faintly] And it said You have the blues but you can shake it If you have faith you can make it You have a chance You must take it while you can You have a choice but you must choose it Don't give up hope Never lose it And that's what it said on the note from Mr God So if you feel down Your chin on the ground And suddenly you feel odd Just look on the ground for that note from Mr God

Sorry, I left my voice in Australia. It'll catch up with me on a later flight [Spoken] Love is warm if love is real But if it's false and cold as steel It can break your heart Tear your dreams apart But love can bless you when it's true Give you hope and guide you through The darkest corridor That's what love is for You have come and now the emptiness is gone You hung the light between the darkness and the dawn Don't be pushing back and forth, you're gonna hurt somebody. You go stand out there by yourself and rock if you want. Yeah. This ain't rock and roll you know, this is the christian life. Not supposed to sway back and forth, supposed to stand tall and eh, solid and [Spoken] I love you and you love me If I am all I'll ever be Is that enough for you And hope will guide us through We grow strong, our hearts grow well We withstand the gates of hell And walk towards heaven's door That's what love is for You have come and now the emptiness is gone You hung the light between the darkness and the dawn I keep remembering sorrow from the past Look ahead tomorrow to brighter days Without your love my hope would never last True love comes from the father I, I keep remembering It is the last verse soon. Hey this ain't show business, I'm only here because this is life [Spoken] Life is hard but love abides Through the storms and raging tides We're safe among the shores That's what love is for We're safe among the shores That's what love is for That's what love is for That's what love is for

...going on in there? Will this thing work as a PA? Is there anyone alive in there? Shoot, the whole place has been renovated Aaah Hello, hello. We're in the message booth in the ice rink. Can you hear me? Give me that thing Wait a minute, wait a minute. Please be careful breaking in. If this thing gets loose there's no stopping it. It's all over the rink, it's blocking all the exits That sounds like Bobby It's got some strange life force. We're safe for the moment. Please be very careful, many people have been killed already There's only three of us left here, and everyone else escaped or was killed. I don't think it can get to us but we can't get out Oh come on man you gotta let us get in there, he's our best friend Look you two, em, go on over to the fire unit and get some helmets or jackets and look official and try to help out. Williams, will you go with 'em? Right sir Can you tell us the nature of the thing? Hey Bobby I'm sorry Bobby Tell them what the thing...

about

This is how this title was described when it was first released: STICKS AND STONES: (Contains additional disc, for free) This is an extenuation of the collection of rock band music found on Blarney Stone, featuring Jon Linn and Charly. This CD contains "Cornerstone Blues," which Jon and Larry wrote, and some solo songs like "Raindrops," *You Did It For Me," "That's What Love Is For" and studio recordings Larry has never released, like "Trinitv" and "Shake Your Rattle And Crawl" and more. This is a memorial collection, dedicated to the memory of Jon Linn, probably the premiere pioneer of fiery Christian rock guitar.

Note that Trinity and Shake Your Rattle And Crawl had been previously released, but this was their first appearance on CD.
